I'm Sandra — I paint fantasy and concept art because I can't not. Creatures, dreamscapes, and the occasional very good dog. Welcome to the collection.
How It Happens
From vague idea to finished piece
Sketch it out
Every piece starts as a rough idea — usually at 2am — sketched loosely until something clicks. Or doesn't. Sometimes the sketch is the final piece and I just get lucky.
Build the world
Colours, lighting, atmosphere — this is where the piece finds its mood. Some pieces are planned from the start. Others just happen organically. Both approaches seem to work.
Bring it to life
Final details, textures, and the fiddly bits that take forever but make all the difference. This is where a creature gets its soul — or at least a really good expression.
From the Artist
I'm Sandra — I make fantasy art, creature designs, and magical dogs from my studio in Denmark. I work in both digital and traditional media, depending on my mood and how much paint I've spilled on the desk lately.
I've also been told my work hangs in one of the world's most famous art museums. Somewhere near the back. Past some stairs. I couldn't possibly comment.
